US News and World Report gave Piedmont High a “gold” ranking in its December 2008 review of all public high schools in the country.

Piedmont High School offers 17 AP and Honors classes -- classes that help prepare students for challenging college curriculums and are pre-requisite for admission to competitive colleges.

Piedmont High School students graduate at a rate of almost 99% since 2000; 88% go to four-year colleges (8% attend two-year colleges), and every year, many PHS grads attend the very best colleges in California and nationwide.
